On the minus side, I woke up an hour and a half early. On the plus side, my curries are done, giving me time to possibly make up some new brochures for the SLF, if Anand will let me work. I could have done those instead of cooking the curries, but I have my priorities straight. :-)
Thursday:
- cook chicken curry in coconut milk -- DONE
- cook lentils in coconut milk -- DONE
- prep and marinate tandoori shrimp for grilling -- DONE
- link bank account to Square -- DONE
- 9:00 - pack car with SLF small press co-op dealer's table stuff (bookstands, banner, promo cards, chapbooks, my books, and any materials mailed to the house by other presses) -- DONE
- 10:00 - be at ChiCon, set up SLF dealer's table -- DONE
- Fans in the Classroom -- DONE
1:30 - 3:00 p.m., Comiskey
This panel will share experiences teaching SF/F in the classroom where the students are a combination of existing fans and non-fans.
