You've probably already made the cookies now, but if you are a cookie novice I think the basic black and white decorated cookies or the gingerbread mummy cookies would be the easiest. What did you end up making?

Which admittedly look more like Genghis Khan's helmet than a witch's hat but are still fun to eat.

I made the dough, but didn't have time to cut them; I'm actually baking them now. :-) I think I'm going to do two batches. Right now, I've cut the circles for the b/w cookies, and I'll try to do those as nicely as I can. And then next week, I think I'll let the kids use the little Halloween cutters and do a batch they can decorate. :-)
