Miscellaneous Crepe Variations

They're great with sliced apples sauteed in butter and cinnamon and some shredded sharp cheddar. - 1/5/96

We made crepes with sweet and savory stuffings (feta and spinach and garlic with a little salt and pepper chopped up in the a blender is a good one, as is a ratatouille cooked down (I replaced the eggplant with zucchini though, 'cause I hate mushy eggplant)) - 1/15/96

Remember that crepes recipe? Well, we took chunks of chicken, onion and red and green pepper, sauteed them with this packet of fajita spices he had, and wrapped them in crepes. Tortillas definitely work better (thicker and hold the stuff together better) but it was a very good improvisation, nonetheless. :-) - 3/21/96
